Priyanka Reddy Rape Case: that shook the entire country

Priyanka Reddy Rape Case: that shook the entire country

Dr Priyanka, who lives in Shadnagar area of Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, used to go to the clinic every day, which was in Shamshadbagh, about 30 km from her house. She used to cross half-way from Scooty and park her scooty in the parking of Tondupalli Toll Plaza - and continue to call for cabs to cross the road ahead. This was the daily routine. On November 27, Priyanka finished work and left the clinic, but she had an appointment with another doctor as she was taking skin treatment. He was late here. The family members knew in advance that Priyanka would be late.

After meeting the doctor, Priyanka reached the toll plaza parking, saw that Scooty has a tire puncture. Priyanka got upset because it was night and she could not even get help at a place like toll plaza. Now every person who was going to visit the lone girl at that place was staring. Priyanka started getting upset, could not understand what to do if she did? Some people even came to ask, even offered help, but Priyanka realized that the intentions of those who asked her for help were not good. The sixth sense of girls makes them a precursor to good and evil. Priyanka was now getting more scared.

At 9.22 pm, Priyanka called her home. If I tell the sister the situation, she said leave the car there and come home from the cab. But Priyanka asked how to leave the car here? If left, then how will I go to the clinic tomorrow? So she told her sister, I see it should be fine because tomorrow we have to go to office. But you stay on the phone, because I am scared.

Priyanka definitely felt scared but had no idea about the impending danger. She was thinking that if Scooty left here, no one should steal it and take it away. Nobody imagines being so bad with yourself. Since then, she was on the phone. Meanwhile, many people came to ask for help. One even went to get the car repaired punctured, but returned and said that the shop was closed. One said that the car would have to be carried further because all the shops are closed. That is, in the name of help, someone was staying with Priyanka. But nothing else could be seen in people's eyes. Priyanka was just hoping for someone whose help she could feel safe. Until 9.42, Priyanka kept talking to her sister and said that she is scared. And finally at the behest of her sister, she agreed to take the cab. But then his phone gets disconnected. When the sister called again, the phone was switched off.

The family thought that maybe Priyanka has got the cab and she will be coming, and it may be that the phone battery has run out. But even after two hours, when she did not return, the family decided to go to the toll plaza. When he reached there, neither Scooty nor Priyanka was there. Now everyone started feeling apprehensive.

Priyanka's sister immediately reaches the nearest police station - Cyberabad. From there he is returned saying that the area with toll plaza does not come under us. You have to go to Shamshabad Police Station. Priyanka's estranged sister reaches Shamshabad police station from there. Where the police, in their own style, adopt the wavering attitude and reach the toll plaza and find Priyanka. Nothing is found and it is morning.

Some distance away from this place, under a underpass, a farmer finds a corpse in burnt condition, then he informs the police. At around 7 in the morning the police arrive there and try to identify the corpse - which was 100 per cent burnt, except for a piece of scarf. A sore locket was pointing out that this corpse belonged to a woman. At the same time, Priyanka's family is called, where these things confirm that the burnt corpse was Priyanka Reddy's.

Seeing this corpse, the sleep of the police was actually opened. Then the police are active because it is a case of killing a female doctor. In the investigation, it is revealed that Priyanka was also gangraped before the murder.

Hear from the murderers what they did to Priyanka

The police have arrested 4 people in this case, among whom a truck driver Mohammad Arif is 25 years old and he is the main accused. He is also accompanied by three helpers - C Chennakeshvulu, J Siva and J Naveen, who are around 20 years old. Everyone confessed to the crime of rape and murder in front of the police.

This crime was planned only when these people saw Priyanka doing a scooty park there. When Priyanka was not there, Naveen deliberately punctured Scooty. When Priyanka came to pick up Scooty at 9.18 pm, the tire air had gone out completely. Then Arif reached there on the pretext of helping the distressed Priyanka. This was the same person who said that all the shops are closed. But Priyanka kept refusing him for help. Siva took his scooter to get it fixed. Who came and said that the shop was closed.

The police told that Priyanka should not sound so the assailants had closed her mouth and nose during the rape. Priyanka succumbed and died. Then they bought petrol and burnt Priyanka's body. The same people who were afraid of Priyanka, either forcibly or under the pretext of help, took her from there and made havoc with her.

Will Dr. Priyanka still say Nirbhaya?

One thing that attracts attention in this entire case is that Dr. Priyanka was scared. She was repeatedly telling her sister that she is scared. People are staring at him. These are not good people. Priyanka was not the only one living in this fear, but every girl comes down the street with the fear that people are staring at her with dirty eyes. This society does not give women any opportunity to be fearless or become fearless. Priyanka also left the world with this fear.

Admittedly, the people who had been tortured with Nirbhaya were also drivers and helpers and that incident too happened at night. This case of Hyderabad is as gruesome as the Nirbhaya case but completely different from the Nirbhaya case. In the Nirbhaya case, Nirbhaya was gang raped in a moving bus, which was not planned before. Yes, Nirbhaya's attackers believed that they had gone out in search of prey. The planning to execute the Hyderabad incident had started from the morning itself. The criminals did everything thoughtfully. The accused of Nirbhaya did not know what could happen to them. But in front of the culprits of Priyanka, the Nirbhaya incident was an example. He was well aware that he can plan a rape and murder of a woman and how to escape. He was fearless because he knew that the death penalty is only to intimidate, in reality where someone is hanged.

They thought that the accused in the Nirbhaya case were sentenced to death, but they were not hanged. He felt that Nirbhaya had survived, so his accused got trapped. And to end the case there and to save himself, he burnt Priyanka on the spot. The same thing is done nowadays, rape and murder should be done directly, so that there is no one left to accuse.

Understand that neither a girl is fearless nor a criminal is in awe today. No government has been able to instill fear in the minds of criminals and neither can remove fear from the minds of women so far. Our society is full of these wolves, so there is no guarantee that daughters will be saved by reading and writing. Slogans like 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' are now like nonsense, not to inspire. Because whenever parents think about teaching daughters, some such dreadful incident keeps waiting for them to break their spirits. How today's daughters assure their parents that they are safe outside. How to tell them to let them go out to read.

The Priyanka Reddy rape and murder case of Hyderabad has once again proved the government and the police promising security. The police and the government of Hyderabad have already blamed Priyanka Reddy by chanting the number 100. Not only this, in the same Shamshabad area, on the very next day of the Priyanka Reddy case, a burnt dead body of another woman has been found, which is enough to tell how active the Hyderabad Police is. 122 petrol cars could not even see Priyanka and this woman burning, so damn on such police.

But what to say for the Government of India, whose eyes do not open even after seeing the crime statistics. In a country where there is an average of 40 thousand rapes every year, every day there are 106 rapes and 4 out of every 10 rapes are small girls, where the conviction rate is only 25 percent i.e. only 10 thousand out of 40 thousand rapes. Only get punished and 30 thousand roam around, why should anyone get scared there. The criminals are encouraged by these figures and they plan for the next crime - the government can only make a buck.
